Heading for tornado torn Kansas

Don’t look forward to rush hour traffic in Dallas but if I can go around, I will, then I have 6 hours before I find my husband’s high school friend’s place.  Liz lives in a 150 year old stone farmhouse, a MUST-see in my book.  She has recently moved back to her home state after living many years in Maryland.  Then I will go on to Ken’s other relatives to spend the night and hopefully I’ll see his oldest son Liam.  I think I will try to make the 10 hours home but my Mom wants me to divert my travels to go to a conference in Mankato, Minnesota.  I may take her up on it.  May the winds be on my back.
