Sister, nephew, aunt

Family is SO important and friends are too.  I have happy memories of my two week adventures but now I’m paying for it.  Much to catch up on with gardening and yardwork, bills, correspondence, business to take care of PLUS reading and grading 33 research papers.  Still missing TWO!  I hope to have all the grades finalized by next Friday, May 25th.  Americans throughout the country will be leaving next Friday for the lake or on vacation for Memorial Day weekend.  I and my Mom will head out west two hours to take care of the gravesite of my Norwegian relatives in North Dakota.  A tradition we started years ago and with each passing year, it becomes more meaningful.
